Week Two of the Private Retreat: Week One focused on the questions each human must ask and answer to expand their consciousness of the purpose of life. If you notice, each person might have a different opinion or choice they make for these six questions, but there is a problem. How do you know your answers are correct? Who tells you what is right or wrong? What or who is the authoritative source of truth that must be above and beyond the casuistry and rationalism of the individual, a truth that is absolute in its inability to change, yet able to inform the consciousness and complexity in which humans must exist? Are you and I the ultimate source of truth that infiltrates each epoch with unerring adequation between what is and what individuals or nature think is reality? Is that something, unclear, yet present, that is outside of human experience but inexorably guides all reality towards a hidden future somewhere in the future? How can I discern what is true and authentic from a choice that, although satisfying human wants, does not lead to a higher evolution of my humanity for which it is destined?

What follows is an outline of the second week or month of the Private Retreat.

Father,

I abandon myself into your hands;
do with me what you will.

Whatever you may do,
I thank you.

I am ready for all, I accept all.
Let only your will be done in me,
and in all your creatures.

SILENCE FOR FIFTEEN MINUTES

WHO CHOSES WHAT IS AUTHENTIC FOR THE NEXT STAGE OF HUMAN EVOLUTION?

How do I know that my answers to The Divine Equation are true? Who is the teacher who grades my answers with absolute certitude? Where does truth reside? Am I the final arbiter of what is true? If not me, who or what?

Answer these two questions.

• Where can I get a truthful answer to what is good or bad for my humanity that is not corrupted by the ever-changing opinions of others?
• What is an absolute truth, absolutely?

Just go to that upper room of your inner self and wait for the Holy Spirit. Wait for at least fifteen to thirty minutes after you read the question before you respond.
