One thing is for sure: if you get too close to the edge of time, you may fall off. Granted that I am just a bit peculiar and have not lost it (entirely), I would like to share with you some seemingly disjointed ideas or fragments of thoughts that may not seem connected together but are tethered together with the energy filaments from God to we humans (in whatever universe we live).
These thoughts are like mosaic pieces of glass that do not seem to fit into any pattern. I have spent my lifetime trying to make sense of them, and sometimes, I even get lucky and see where they all fit. Make of them what you will.
YOU CAN’T FOOL MOTHER NATURE.
There is a lot of social media about gender changing and becoming another gender if that is where you think you are in your life. While it is true that the human mind is not limited to thinking anything, unfortunately, nature is not so forgiving.
All of us are bound by specific laws of nature, ones we don’t create, but because of our reason and free will without repercussions, we become its custodians to continue reality as we each encounter it in any way (The Christ Principle). The problem for humans is that there is no template for judging what is right or wrong about being human.
Animals, for example, are bound by the natural law in all they do. They cannot change the law to suit their own pleasure by their thoughts (which are animal in nature). Humans are the exception to the rule. Because each of us is the only one of us, we control that few years afforded us by our human nature with reasoning and the free and unchallenged will to go against nature if we choose and do what we want (individually). In that flow of life from what has been to what will be, each human dips their toes in the pool of lived experience unique to them and must make sense of what it means to be human, what love has to do with existence, and where to find the template of truth that is the key to all the answers we need while we re alive to reach the destiny designed by God’s DNA from the beginning. “Our hearts are restless until they rest in Thee,” –St. Augustine of Hippo
MOVING INEXORABLY THROUGH TIME AND SPACE WITH PURPOSE
My reason tells me what is good for me and what is bad for me. Unfortunately, there are three levels to humanity through which we must pass in the time allotted. Using the Teilhard Map (Unattributed), I have assimilated this way of thinking about the evolution of nature into three parts.
Matter and time are conscious of destiny because God (creator) left fingerprints (DNA) on each atom, molecule, and physical attribute. They are fulfilled because they do what they were intended to do and forge the path forward with complexity and consciousness.
In the first significant paradigm shift (from the physical universe to life), the Genesis Principle, evolution needed energy to reach down and help it move from matter to living matter (organic chemistry and biology). This new paradigm was built on the old one but movedforward inexorably without human intervention. It did so because of the dynamics of time as it moved, and it did so with consciousness and complexity based on the impressions of pure energy impregnated like fingerprints on each atom. Matter cannot not do what it is intended to do. Humans, being part of this panoply of now inert and living chemistry, evolve because time is the complex filament or umbilical that transverse the three universes of physical (Genesis Principle) and mental, leading to each individual having to choose to enter the spiritual (The Christ Principle).
The next paradigm shift ( from life to humanity) is the natural conclusion of life, its apex, its ultimate destination. But, again, there is a problem. Life, by itself, does not have the energy to lift itself up that step of the staircase of complexity and consciousness. The pure energy of creation (God) once more lifted humanity to that next level, like a ship going through a canal. But there is now a problem. Because humans are freed from being hostage to our human nature, as individuals of our species, we must come up with what is good and evil. The problem, outlined in the Book of Genesis by the Tower of Babel, is an archetypal myth that helps humanity identify an element of the problem of what it means to be a human. With reason and free will, without fear of retaliation for wrong choices, humanity’s problem with being fully human and growing to the next level of our destiny. Evolution does not stop with my personal death or the death of even the earth; it has a destiny of its own. As they say, “Time moves on,” silently, relentlessly as a river of matter, life, and now spirituality, apart from any causal interference from humanity, tending towards its ocean, Omega.
According to Teilhard de Chardin, in The Phenomenon of Man, the next level of paradigm shift was another gigantic step from animality to one select species evolving to the point where there was another impenetrable step or lock to be overcome, reason and the unique and heretofore unrealized characteristic of choice that has no consequences except for the one choosing, Humans, the species who won the competition for the prize of being lifted up to a level where no other inert or living matter had been before, gave birth to the individual. This person, Adam (from the earth), comes from God, and from Adam comes Eve (the mother of humanity). This new paradigm is the birth of the individual, one who could, as an individual, make choices. If you get seduced into the men are better than women debate, you may miss the significance of this handoff from Divine Nature to the fledgling Human Nature.
Humanity did not possess the energy to create such magnificent creatures from the candidates in all the universes of all the universes, yet it happened because one nature helped another. The Divine Nature (that which is) gave birth to humanity, like finding a whimpering puppy on the side of the road of reality, starving for the food that will bring life, anxious to be loved, and seeking the security of its animal nature.
In the innermost room of my inner self, I have struggled my whole life with these three questions: a) What is the intended deepest level of my human, the one containing the fingerprints of Divine Nature, and the one requiring profound knowledge on my part to begin to get some image of what a fulfilled human being is? b) How can I complete this fulfilled nature by discovering what it means to love fiercely, with 100% of my nature. I know I should, and I also know I could, but my limited humanity keeps dragging me back to a more animalistic approach to reality (original sin). c) How can I discover what is true absolutely (outside of the corruptibility of human thinking and loving) to become immortal and sustain this reality after I die? I hope there is a greater reality (The Christ Principle, accessed through The Principle of Absolute Truth).
