A MOSAIC PIECE OF MY LIFE: What lurks at the very bottom of the deepest part of my humanity?

While transversing the quicksand of daily living, I have stumbled upon (another word for my research) the more fundamental tendencies of the human mind and heart to satisfy my hunger for three questions that plague my deepest self, and I suspect, others longings as well. For me, there are three archetypal questions at the core of my humanity that I continue to seek to answer. These are the longings of a human in search of his humanity at the deepest level. They are:

  1. What does it mean to be human at the deepest level of my humanity? Where can I find it?
  2. How can I love fiercely? Where can I find it?
  3. What is true beyond the obvious freedom to choose for each individual? Is there a subjective truth? Where can I find it?

My life has been spent trying to fit a template of thinking that answers all three questions, or at least gives me a glimpse of the answers, realizing that life is a process of discovery until death. Look at the cup to see me as I stand before the totality of my life and the enormity of all matter and mind to peer through that window that is clear enough for me to know something exists on the other side.

NEXT What satisfied my hungry heart?
